SMIT: DEVELOPING SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES FOR A BRIGHTER TOMORROW

SMIT is not an ordinary company. We are busy innovating means to be able to provide the needs of our fellowmen and at the same time, working towards a better society and a better world for an even brighter tomorrow. And just how do we do that you might ask. SMIT pushes technology to the limits in order to solve the world’s most pertinent problems. Among the world’s most important concerns, SMIT has decided to focus on the issue of light. There are many homes and communities without access to light and we believe that having access to this resource will help them in many ways. It can help them to see things better and make them more productive along the way. Right now, SMIT is working on solar ivy products which use photovoltaic leaves that generate solar and wind power. Through the energy harnessed by the sun and wind, we are able to provide light in a renewable and sustainable way. These can be used in houses, commercial establishments, and community settings. The solar ivy products just need to be attached on the outside walls for them to harness the energy from the sun and wind. Our basic size comes in 4×7 feet measurement and this can produce 85 watts. But our products are customizable so we can have them in bigger sizes according to your requirement. Our solar ivy products can be used on their own as an alternative source of energy or they can also be used along with other solar panels to meet the demands of the household, establishment, and community.

While SMIT focuses on providing sustainable light through the use of renewable energy, we also work with other companies in the development of other sustainable technologies such as sustainable housing, sustainable agriculture, and sustainable ecosystems. SMIT works together with architects, engineers, and urban planners to discuss the latest trends in building and construction. We discuss green architecture, renewable energy, vertical urbanism, inclusionary zone, and participatory development. To cite an example of one of our collaborations, we are currently working with a company that manufactures residential garage doors in Phoenix using sustainable wood. We have also joint forces with other organizations in using green architecture for designing homes. Where possible, we incorporate the use of our solar ivy to ensure the use of renewable energy source and sustainability in the communities.

We have come up with this website to promote awareness about our solar ivy products. This is also a channel to reach out to more people and make them aware of renewable energy sources and other endeavors that make use of sustainable technologies as they provide the needs of our fellowmen. We do this in the hope of making the public realize that there is a better alternative out there, one that is friendlier to the environment. It can be done and it has been done. Many projects have been successful. But they need our support to help make this world a better place to live in and the promise of a brighter tomorrow can become a reality.
